Becoming a member of FirstGen Society means joining a supportive and empowering community of first‑generation college students and alumni. Membership connects you to a lifelong network built on fellowship, opportunity, and shared success through high school, college, and into your professional life.
Members gain access to exclusive benefits, events, discounts, and resources designed to support every stage of the first‑gen collegiate journey. Membership activates immediately upon joining, with no initiation process required.

Founding Member

Founding Members are the first individuals who helped establish FirstGen Society and hold a special lifetime designation.
Junior Member
-
For high school students (grades 9–12).

Junior Members join through their school or Student Club.

There are no individual dues; schools that start a Student Club pay an annual chapter fee for materials
Student Lifetime Member

For undergraduate students enrolled part‑time or full‑time at a 2‑ or 4‑year institution.

A one‑time membership fee provides lifetime membership
Professional Lifetime Member

For first‑generation alumni who have earned a bachelor’s degree.

Professional Members receive lifetime membership, access to professional development resources, exclusive events, and opportunities to support current first‑generation college students.
Associate Member

Open to supporters who are not first‑generation college students or alumni, including educators and professionals who work with the first‑gen student communities.
